Because I paid $100,000, five years ago for it, it should be worth at least that much now.

      Sometimes we need an unrelated party to come in and give us that unbiased evaluation.   You need a couple of things to be able to make that important decision, sell, rent, stay. 1. Your motivation to move, do you have to or is it a choice. 2. A professional, informed opinion of what it is worth. 3. What do you still owe on the property.
