BLOG UPDATE: Scared To Sell Your Home Right Now

New to the Real Estate Industry

Once you pass the real estate exam you are ready to venture into your new career but where do go? How do you select the right brokerage?  I could easily tell you that Exit Realty 1st Class II in Raeford is where you want to be but that might not be true for you.  A brokerage is much more than a name.  I believe it is about the people, the training, the splits, and the monthly expenses.  Most agencies now advertise about training.  Exit has set the goal of being the smartest real estate company in this decade.  This will be achieved by offering extensive training to both our seasoned agents and our new agents.  Agents are no different than anyone else they want to obtain the most amount of money so they look for the highest splits.  When considering who gives the highest split you must also factor monthly expenses that the brokerage charges the agent such as desk fees, copy fees, MLS fees, E & O Insurance, advertising costs, transaction fees, franchise fees, membership fees and any other expense.  Also have to see if you have to obtain a certain level of production to keep you split or to not have certain monthly fees.    All this is very important but what is most important to me is the people.  I do not want to work in an office that does not know me or my family.  I do not want to work with people who do not support me in my career and who are willing to help.  I do not want to work with people who I have to fear taking my leads.  I do not want to work with people who do not offer a helping hand without getting something in return.  I do not want to work where the agent and the broker in charge do not work as a team.  I may be slightly bias but I believe that the Exit office in Raeford, NC is the best office for any agent new or old.  They are a family, they encourage eachother, they always lend a helping hand and truely want you to succeed.  Before you sign with any agency please take a minute to call Candilee our BIC.
